This bedtime Yoga sequence was designed to help you relax and unwind at the end of the day and prepare you for the deepest, most restorative and healing sleep possible. It, along with a yin sequence I will share soon, was my personal go to insomnia remedy when I suffered from insomnia for years from chronic illness. I must say, it worked surprisingly well! SO dim the lights, get in some comfy clothes that make you feel good, and get ready to surrender to the stillness within, sleep like a rock, and wake feeling more clear headed than you have in awhile if you suffer from poor sleep!
This is a 20 minute Yoga video you can use at the end of the day to relax and unwind, or right before bed to help you fall asleep.
In the video I am using a Yoga bolster and two yoga blocks. If you do not have these props, do not let it stop you from doing the practice. Simply substitute with items around the house of similar size and shape (for example, use pillows instead of a bolster, and two books instead of blocks).
Also, feel free to do this practice in bed and fall right to sleep in corpse pose!
